ITC Reefculture PARwise PRO light meter with cPUR technology

New from ITC Reefculture: M-Rack Modular Mounting, PARwise Light Meters, and the Reef Delete UV Wand

ITC Reefculture builds a specific kind of product — the ones you don't realize you need until you've been fighting the problem for six months. Cable spaghetti in the sump. Frag plugs sliding around the shelf. A par meter reading that doesn't match what your corals are actually doing. A patch of aiptasia that keeps coming back no matter how much lemon juice or kalk paste you throw at it.

Three of their product families are now stocked at Marine Concept Supply, all UK-made. Here's what each one solves.

M-Rack: modular magnetic mounting for the inside of your tank

The M-Rack system is a family of accessory plates that all mount to the same magnetic PUK on the aquarium glass. Buy the PUK once, then snap on whichever plate you need — frag racks, filter sock holders, probe holders, heater holders, dose lines, feed rings. Change the layout in seconds without draining or drilling anything.

Start with the mount:

  • M-Rack Magnetic PUK: The mounting magnet. Rated for glass up to 15 mm. One PUK per plate location.

Then pick the plates:

PARwise: PAR is only half the story

Most PAR meters give you an intensity number and nothing about spectrum. But two 350 PAR readings from different fixtures can grow completely different corals depending on what wavelengths make up that PAR. The PARwise family reads both:

  • ITC PARwise USB Light Meter: Submersible PAR + spectrum measurement over USB. The right first meter for a reefer who wants the full lighting picture in one reading.
  • ITC PARwise PRO Light Meter: Adds cPUR (coral photosynthetic usable radiation) analysis on top of PAR and spectrum — measuring the light your corals' pigments actually use, not just the light hitting them.

Pair either of those with the Seneye Spectra spectrometer if you want continuous logging as well as spot readings.

Reef Delete: the last-resort UV wand for aiptasia and algae

The ITC Reef Delete is a handheld UV-C wand that eliminates aiptasia, majano anemones, algae, cyanobacteria, flatworms, and invasive soft corals through the glass — no injections, no paste, no chemicals in the water column. Point, hold for the recommended dwell time, and the target dies without collateral damage to nearby corals when used correctly.

It's not a magic bullet — you still have to be systematic about it — but for problems that keep coming back after every other approach, having a UV tool in the drawer is worth its weight.

Why we brought these in

All three lines share a design philosophy: solve one problem completely, don't add plastic clutter you'll rip out in a year. The M-Rack replaces suction cups that fail, the PARwise replaces the vague guessing about spectrum, and Reef Delete replaces the repeat-treatment cycle that comes with liquid aiptasia killers.
