Why Add On Rather Than Replace
A primary LED fixture often has plenty of coverage and controllability, but can fall short on total PAR or the fluorescence-driving spectrum some SPS-heavy or color-focused tanks want. An add-on kit boosts exactly that without discarding a fixture that otherwise works well.
Choosing a Kit
- XHO-K15 - built for Ecotech Radion XR15 fixtures with an RMS mount or hanging kit (also fits new G5 mounts).
- XHO-K26 - built for AI Hydra 26 and HD32 fixtures with HMS mounts or hanging kits.
- XHO-K30 - built for Ecotech Radion XR30 and AI Hydra 52/64 fixtures with RMS and HMS mounts (also fits new G5 mounts).
- XHO X360 - mounts between a Kessil A360 arm and its mount (not recommended for flex-arm mounts).
- X Series Dual (X24/X36/X48/X60) - Reef Brite's add-on XHO strip built to mount alongside Ecotech Radion, AI Hydra, and Kessil A360X/A500X/AP9X/AP700 fixtures, sized in 24, 36, 48, and 60-inch lengths.
Setup Tips
- Match the kit to your exact fixture model and mount type - these are built for specific hardware, not universal fits.
- Use your fixture's controller (or a Reef Brite dimmer) to balance output between the primary fixture and the added XHO strip.
- Confirm mount compatibility before ordering, since flex-arm mounts aren't supported on some kits.
