Commercial Protein Skimmer Great for commercial systems: 20,000-26,500 gallons The Q8 is a commercial-size foam fractionators that is extremely efficient at removing dissolved organics and pollutants from sea water. Utilizing a group of six Bubble Blaster 10000 pinwheel pumps that efficiently chops and injects a mass amount of microbubbles into its 40in diameter body where it mixes in with approximately 250gallons of water. The dissolved organics and pollutants are attracted to the microbubbles and rise into a waste collection cup. These foam fractionators are compatible with ozone with direct venturi ports installed for added safety. Foam collection cups remove easy for maintenance. Bioload Handling The bioload of an aquarium refers to its ability to process waste in proportion to tank volume. Protein skimmers work best when properly matched with the bioload of the system.
