7.5lbs IceCap Deionization Resin (6 Fill)

IceCap Deionization Resin is a color-indicating mixed-bed DI resin used as the final polishing stage in a reverse osmosis/deionization (RO/DI) water system, reducing total dissolved solids (TDS) to 0 ppm for reef-safe top-off and mixing water.

• 7.5 lbs of virgin (non-reclaimed) mixed-bed DI resin
• Sized for approximately 6 refills of a standard IceCap DI reactor cartridge
• Color-indicating: shifts from blue to amber/brown as the resin is exhausted
• SKU: IC-RI-DIRES75

Why this matters: unlike carbon or sediment stages, DI resin is what strips the last dissolved minerals an RO membrane lets through. Running it until it's actually spent — rather than on a calendar guess — is the only way to guarantee 0 TDS water for coral-safe top-off, and the built-in color change is what tells you when that point has arrived.

Includes: 7.5 lbs of loose-fill virgin DI resin (media only, no cartridge or housing included).

Compatible with: IceCap 4-stage RO/DI systems (IC-RI75, IC-RI100, IC-RI150, IC-RI200) and most other DI reactors/cartridges sized for standard mixed-bed resin.
