The Reef Octopus Aquatrance 1500 Water Pump sits in the middle of the Aquatrance lineup, offering more flow than the AQ-1200 for mid-size return pump or reactor feed applications. Like the rest of the line, it uses an efficient prop impeller design for reliable, low-maintenance operation.

• Best for: mid-size aquariums needing a return pump or reactor feed pump
• Design: prop impeller, submersible or external use, adjustable flow intake
• Includes: hose barb adapters for flexible plumbing
• Note: not a pressure-rated pump — not suited for second-floor sump setups or feeding Beckett/downdraft skimmers

The 1500 is a common upgrade path when an AQ-1200 isn't quite keeping pace with a growing tank's return flow needs.
