Bacto Reef Balls 100 ml

Fauna Marin Bacto Reef Balls are slow-dissolving bacteria "depot" spheres that seed a marine aquarium with live nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria plus enzymes to break down ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and phosphate.

• Dose: 2 balls per 100 L (26 US gal)
• Each ball dissolves gradually over 2-4 weeks, releasing bacteria continuously (depot effect)
• Replace every 2 weeks for ongoing nutrient control
• 100 ml jar
• Start at half dose (quarter dose in skimmerless tanks) and adjust to test results

Unlike a liquid bacteria dose that's spent within a day, the solid-ball format keeps releasing bacteria and enzymes over several weeks — that gives steadier nutrient export between water changes instead of a spike-and-fade cycle.
