Brightwell Aquatics Iodion is a highly concentrated, extended-activity iodide solution for marine and reef aquaria, replacing an element that depletes quickly through protein skimming and water changes.

• Delivers iodide (not iodate) for extended bioavailability
• Target maintenance range: 0.04-0.06 ppm iodine
• Natural seawater iodine level: approximately 0.06 ppm
• Test before dosing - iodine is easy to overshoot
• Available in 250ml, 500ml, 2L, and 20L bottles

Iodine helps hermatypic corals detoxify excess oxygen produced by their zooxanthellae and supports the molting cycle of crustaceans and other invertebrates - corals running low on iodine can visibly shrivel or close up under intense lighting.

Compatible with: all marine and reef aquaria; pair with a reliable iodine test kit before dosing.
