Brightwell Aquatics NēoPhos

Brightwell Aquatics NēoPhos is a balanced liquid phosphorus supplement built for ultra-low-nutrient (ULNS) reef systems that have been stripped of phosphate to the point of stalling coral and bacterial growth - it raises phosphate back into a usable range rather than removing it.

• Balanced phosphorus source: purified water plus proprietary phosphorus salts
• Potency: roughly 1 ml raises phosphate by ~1.2 ppm per gallon dosed
• Target range: dose to reach approximately 0.02 ppm phosphate
• Re-test 24 hours after each dose before adjusting further
• Works alongside daily bacterial dosing (e.g. MicroBacter7) for balanced nitrate/phosphate control

It sounds backwards, but reef tanks can run too lean: without a trace of phosphate, bacteria and corals can't fully process nitrate, and growth stalls. NēoPhos lets ULNS aquarists dial phosphate back up to a healthy floor in small, controlled increments instead of letting it swing wildly.

Compatible with: ULNS dosing regimens and Brightwell's MicroBacter7 bacterial supplement.
