Brightwell Aquatics Strontion

Brightwell Aquatics Strontion is a concentrated strontium chloride supplement for marine aquaria, helping corals and other reef-building invertebrates incorporate strontium into their aragonite skeleton alongside calcium.

• Concentration: 896 mg strontium per oz (~30,280 ppm) - free of phosphate, silicate, and organics
• Basic dosing: 5 ml per 20 gallons every other day (a 250ml bottle treats up to 1,000 gallons at this rate)
• Advanced dosing: 1 ml raises strontium ~8 ppm per gallon; up to 10 ml per 20 gallons daily until target is reached
• Target range: 8-12 ppm strontium
• Available in 250ml, 500ml, 2L, and 20L bottles

Like potassium and iodine, strontium is a minor element that's easy to let run low since it isn't part of most basic reef test kits - chronic depletion can show up as slower or less dense skeletal growth in stony corals over time.

Compatible with: all marine and reef aquaria; test strontium before starting an advanced dosing regimen.
