Its compact design and external pump placement allows for less space behind the tank and reduced heat transfer. Made of quality acrylic, it includes the efficient Aquatrance pinwheel pump for optimal waste removal. Biofiltering is best when matched to tank volume. The Classic 1000HOB features a low profile body and the innovative Aquatrance 1000s Skimmer Pump for low heat performance. Technical specs include an 8.8"x3.5" footprint and a total height of 17". The Aquatrance 1000s Pinwheel Pump consumes 9 watts, with air and water draw rates of 420lph/15SCFH and 350lph/92GPH respectively (dependent on aquarium setup).
