ELEMENTALS BR - Bromine 1000 ml

Fauna Marin ELEMENTALS Br is a high-purity bromine solution for correcting bromine deficiencies in reef aquariums.

• Dose: 10ml per 100L (26 US gal) raises bromine by approximately 10mg/L
• Maximum daily increase: 10mg bromine/L per day
• Target range: 60-70mg/L, matching natural seawater levels
• Format: 1000ml bottle

Bromine is one of the more concentrated elements in seawater and gives coral tissue its brightening, porcelain-like finish under blue-dominant lighting — stony corals use it in skeleton formation and zooxanthellae rely on it for photosynthetic enzyme production. Levels below about 50mg/L show up as pale colors and faded blue/purple fluorescence; levels above 80mg/L risk tissue detachment, so dose toward the target range rather than past it.

Includes: 1x 1000ml bottle.

Compatible with: dose via the Fauna Marin DIY Doser adapter; verify current bromine levels with a Fauna Marin ICP test before adjusting.
