ELEMENTALS TRACE Co - Cobalt 250ml

Fauna Marin ELEMENTALS TRACE Co is a high-purity cobalt solution for correcting cobalt deficiencies in reef aquariums.

• Dose: 1ml per 100L (26 US gal) raises cobalt by approximately 4µg/L
• Maximum daily increase: 1µg cobalt/L per day — dose well under a full 1ml if dosing daily
• Target range: 0.5-2µg/L
• Ingredients: water, organic and inorganic cobalt compounds, stabilizers
• Format: 250ml bottle

Cobalt is a building block of vitamin B12 and is produced naturally by symbiotic bacteria living in coral mucus. Because the required concentration is so low, cobalt often sits below what standard ICP tests can detect even when supply is adequate — so treat a "zero" reading with caution rather than assuming a deficiency. Insufficient cobalt shows up as slowed growth, duller coloration, and increased susceptibility to RTN/STN.

Includes: 1x 250ml bottle.

Compatible with: dose via the Fauna Marin DIY Doser adapter; confirm with a Fauna Marin ICP test before adjusting, since the per-ml yield (4µg/L) is higher than the recommended daily cap (1µg/L) — most tanks need only a fraction of a full ml at a time.
