ELEMENTALS TRACE Fe - Iron 250ml

Fauna Marin ELEMENTALS TRACE Fe is a high-purity iron solution for correcting iron deficiencies in reef aquariums.

• Dose: 1ml per 100L (26 US gal) raises iron by approximately 4µg/L
• Maximum daily increase: 1µg iron/L per day — dose well under a full 1ml if dosing daily
• Target range: 0.1-0.3µg/L in the Balling Light system; natural seawater iron is only a few nanograms/L, essentially undetectable
• Ingredients: water, organic and inorganic iron salts, stabilizers
• Format: 250ml bottle

Iron drives enzyme-controlled metabolic processes in coral tissue and is closely tied to visible pigmentation — green and yellow Acropora respond most obviously, turning pale or washed-out when iron runs short. Iron also interacts with nickel and zinc in nitrogen processing, so a shortfall across all three can show up as a nitrate/phosphate spike rather than an obvious color change. As with cobalt, the per-ml yield (4µg/L) is higher than the recommended daily cap (1µg/L), so most tanks only need a fraction of a full ml.

Includes: 1x 250ml bottle.

Compatible with: dose via the Fauna Marin DIY Doser adapter; confirm with a Fauna Marin ICP test before adjusting.
