ELEMENTALS TRACE SE - Selenium 250ml

Fauna Marin ELEMENTALS TRACE Se is a highly pure, stabilized selenium solution for correcting selenium deficiencies in reef aquariums.

• Dose: 1ml per 100L (26 US gal) raises selenium by approximately 0.5µg/L
• Maximum daily increase: 1µg selenium/L per day (2ml per 100L daily)
• Target range: 2-5µg/L; levels above roughly 20µg/L risk tissue damage and detachment
• Ingredients: water, organic and inorganic selenium salts, stabilizers
• Format: 250ml bottle

Selenium is a component of glutathione peroxidase, an antioxidant enzyme that protects coral cell membranes from oxidative damage — especially relevant for SPS colonies sitting high under strong lighting. It also supports nutrient absorption alongside vitamin dosing, and sufficient selenium is required for corals to form egg packages during sexual reproduction. Deficiency shows up as increased tissue transparency, light sensitivity, and poor nutrient uptake.

Includes: 1x 250ml bottle.

Compatible with: dose via the Fauna Marin DIY Doser adapter; confirm with a Fauna Marin ICP test before adjusting.
