ELEMENTALS TRACE Zn - Zinc 250ml

Fauna Marin ELEMENTALS TRACE Zn is a high-purity zinc solution for correcting zinc deficiencies in reef aquariums.

• Dose: 1ml per 100L (26 US gal) raises zinc by approximately 10µg/L
• Maximum daily increase: 3µg zinc/L per day — dose well under a full 1ml if dosing daily
• Target range: 2-5µg/L
• Ingredients: water, organic and inorganic zinc salts, stabilizers
• Format: 250ml bottle

Zinc is a cofactor for enzymes involved in coral tissue and biofilm metabolism, helps regulate the pace of skeletal calcium deposition, and is required to produce the fluorescent proteins behind blue and violet coloration — corals running low on zinc show fading blue/violet tones and duller color overall. It also supports oxygen processing (protecting against photodamage under strong LED lighting) and nitrate/phosphate breakdown. As with several trace elements here, the per-ml yield (10µg/L) is well above the recommended daily cap (3µg/L), so most tanks need only a fraction of a full ml.

Includes: 1x 250ml bottle.

Compatible with: dose via the Fauna Marin DIY Doser adapter; confirm with a Fauna Marin ICP test before adjusting.
