Elite 150INT Super Cone Protein Skimmer

The Reef Octopus Elite 150-INT Super Cone Protein Skimmer brings DC control to the in-sump lineup, pairing a wine-glass-shaped Super Cone body with a variable-speed VarioS-2S pinwheel pump. Instead of one fixed output, you dial in exactly how hard the skimmer runs — useful for tuning skimmate wetness or dropping power draw overnight.

• Bioload capacity: 100 gallons (heavy), 160 gallons (medium), 210 gallons (light) — excluding sump volume
• Pump: Reef Octopus VarioS-2S variable-speed pinwheel pump, 15-25 watts at 24V
• Control features: 5-speed memory controller, true 10-second slow-start ramp, float switch input, 15/60-minute feed-pause modes, and a 0-10V input for 3rd-party controllers like Neptune Apex or Reef Angel
• Body: cast acrylic and machined PVC, fully disassembles for cleaning; "twist and lift" collection cup; vented wedge valve for fine output control

Because the VarioS controller accepts a 0-10V signal, this skimmer can be handed off entirely to an aquarium controller — letting your Apex or Reef Angel ramp the pump up or down as part of a broader automation schedule, not just run it on/off.
