Fauna Marin VIB X Marine 700g

Fauna Marin VIB X Marine is a probiotic bacterial supplement carried on a proprietary substrate, dosed into marine and reef aquariums to support fish and coral immune function and restore microbiome balance after stress or disease.

• Net weight: 700g
• Initial treatment dose: 10g mixed with 500ml aquarium water per 100L, added slowly, repeated at least 4 times
• Maintenance dose: 2g per 100L daily until symptoms resolve
• Unopened shelf life: approx. 3 years; use within 6 months once opened

Because the bacteria are bound to a carrier material rather than dosed as a free liquid, fish and corals take up the probiotic strains directly rather than the bacteria simply passing through the water column — this is the mechanism behind using it as a supportive treatment during disease outbreaks or after a stressful event like shipping or a tank move.

Directions: Turn off the protein skimmer and any UV/ozone equipment for at least 4 hours during application; temporary cloudiness is normal and typically clears in 2-3 hours. Also available in 140g and 350g sizes.
