The Reef Octopus Bubble Blaster 2000 Skimmer Pump (HY-2000S) is the OEM pump behind the SRO 2000 In-Sump Protein Skimmer. Like the rest of the Bubble Blaster line, it's purpose-built for air shredding rather than adapted from a general water pump, with a digital control board and clear volute housing for easy inspection.

The clear housing is a genuinely practical feature — if skim output drops off, you can check for a stuck impeller or debris without pulling the pump apart.
