HYDROS Skimmer Sensor

The HYDROS Skimmer Sensor stops your protein skimmer from overflowing onto the floor or back into the sump by detecting waste level inside the collection cup before it spills.

• Magnetic attachment — no modification to the cup or lid, fits cups up to 1/4in thick
• Optical detection with no moving parts to foul or fail
• 8ft cord with an aviation-style GX12 connector into any HYDROS Sense Port

Why this matters: a skimmer cup that overflows overnight is one of the most common causes of a floor flood in the hobby — this sensor catches it early, and automatic shutdown becomes possible once your skimmer's pump is plugged into a HYDROS Power 4 or Smart Plug.

Compatible with: any HYDROS controller with an available Sense Port. Automatic skimmer shutdown on detection requires a HYDROS Power 4 power strip or Smart Plug (sold separately).
