IceCap 4in Bio-Plate Biological Filter Media

The IceCap 4in Bio-Plate Biological Filter Media is a compact ceramic-sphere brick — not loose spheres, but a fused solid plate you can drop straight into a sump, canister filter, wet/dry, or HOB filter for instant biological filtration surface area. It's the smaller companion to the 8in Bio-Plate.

• Format: single compact brick/plate of dense ceramic spheres
• Best for: smaller sumps, canister filters, and HOB filters, or supplementing existing bio-media
• pH: neutral (7-7.5), safe for freshwater, saltwater, and pond use

Because it's a solid plate rather than loose media in a bag, it's easy to place and retrieve without spilling media or needing a mesh bag — just set it in the flow path and rinse it in tank water periodically to remove surface debris.

Compatible with: sumps, trickle filters, wet/dry filters, canister filters, and HOB filters.
