IceCap K1-50 Protein Skimmer

The IceCap K1-50 Protein Skimmer is built for in-sump installation on tanks up to 80 gallons, with the distinctive "Beer Bottle" curved body that stabilizes air and water mix as it rises through the reaction chamber. A bubble dispersing chamber lower in the body adds extra contact time for more stable foam.

The pipeless output is worth knowing about — water exits below the surface on the side of the skimmer rather than through a wedge pipe, which cuts down on both splash and the added noise a wedge design tends to introduce.
