IceCap K3 150 HOB Protein Skimmer

The IceCap K3 150 HOB Protein Skimmer steps up to the DCAIR 2.5 pump for tanks needing more capacity than the K3 100 HOB covers, still mounted externally to minimize heat transfer into the display. The hang-on-back design means no sump plumbing required.

• Pump: DCAIR 2.5 pinwheel pump, 16 watts, ~900 LPH air draw, ~317 GPH water draw

• Cup drain: 8mm ID / 12mm OD

The jump from DCAIR 1.0 to 2.5 nearly doubles both air and water draw, which is what lets this model cover significantly more tank volume in the same slim hang-on-back form factor.
