The IceCap K3-160INT In-Sump Protein Skimmer moves up to the DCAIR 2.5 pump platform for larger systems, keeping the same 10-level power control and feed timer as the smaller K3-INT models. A submerged pipeless output minimizes noise and turbulence in the sump.

The wide bioload range — 125 to 250 gallons — comes down to the same 10-level pump control found across the K3 line, letting one skimmer body cover a broader range of tank sizes than a fixed-speed design.
