IceCap Kalk Mixing Reactor Small

The IceCap Kalk Mixing Reactor (Small) doses kalkwasser safely and consistently, using gravity draining instead of the pressurized designs prone to clogs and leaks. An adjustable-speed motor mixes calcium hydroxide into a super-saturated, high-pH slurry that supplements calcium and alkalinity while helping stabilize tank pH.

• Best for: smaller reef systems or those dosing kalkwasser in smaller daily volumes
• Drain: gravity-fed via 1/4in flexible RO tubing into a high-flow sump area
• Requires (sold separately): a feed pump (peristaltic recommended for accuracy and anti-siphon protection), a timer or controller to run the mixer motor several times daily, and kalkwasser powder

Maintenance: replenish the kalkwasser solution every two weeks; rinse the reactor monthly to clear precipitate buildup. The push-connect fitting and easy-access lid make both quick.

Important: the mixer motor is not rated for continuous operation — always run it on a timer, never continuously.
