IceCap 200W Titanium Heater Element

The IceCap 200W Titanium Heater Element is a submersible, corrosion-proof heating element for reef and marine aquariums, sized for tanks up to about 66 gallons.

• 200W, 120VAC/60Hz, 1.82A draw
• Length: 10.2in, Diameter: 1in
• Titanium sheath — will not corrode in saltwater
• Suggested tank size: up to 66 gallons

Why this matters: this is a heater element only — titanium has no built-in thermostat, so it must be run through a separate grounded heater controller (such as the IceCap Heater Controller) to regulate temperature. That separation is what makes it reef-safe: no exposed metal contacts or single-point-of-failure thermostat sitting in the display, and titanium itself can't corrode or leach into the water the way lower-grade heater elements can if a seal fails.

Includes: 1 titanium heater element with suction cup mounts.

Compatible with: IceCap Heater Controller (sold separately) or any other grounded heater/temperature controller rated for this wattage.
