IceCap 4.5L Waste Collection Container

The IceCap 4.5L Waste Collection Container is an external skimmate collection cup that catches protein skimmer overflow before it spills into your sump, with a built-in fail-safe shutoff.

• Capacity: 4500 mL (4.5L)
• Body diameter: 6in; footprint 7.7 x 7.7in; height 16in
• Intake size: 3/8in
• Sealed design to control skimmate odor

Why this matters: an overflowing skimmer is one of the most common causes of a smelly, salt-crusted sump. This larger-capacity container goes longer between empties on bigger systems that produce more skimmate, and its float-switch overflow safety (paired with an IceCap Skimmer Controller) can shut the skimmer's pump down automatically if it does fill, rather than relying on you to catch it in time.

Includes: 4.5L waste collection container.

Compatible with: IceCap Skimmer Controller (sold separately) required to use the float-switch overflow shutoff; also works with HYDROS controllers (adapter may be required).
