IceCap Black Drawstring Media Bag Large

The IceCap Black Drawstring Media Bag (Large) is a reusable nylon mesh bag for holding loose filter media — the same bag originally supplied with IceCap Media Cups, now sold separately.

• Size: 13in x 17in
• Material: nylon drawstring mesh
• Holds: biological media, GFO, granular activated carbon, and similar loose media
• Care: reusable — empty old media, rinse, and refill

Loose reactor and canister media works better contained than dumped in loose, and a properly-sized bag keeps fine granules like GFO from migrating into pump intakes or scattering through the sump. This large size handles bigger media volumes — sump baskets, large canister trays, or bulk carbon/GFO fills.

Use in: canister filters, media trays, sump baskets, or directly in a high-flow sump area.

Also available: Small size (6in x 8.5in) for media cups and smaller volumes.
