IceCap CO2 Scrubber Medium

The IceCap CO2 Scrubber Medium pulls excess household CO2 out of the air feeding your protein skimmer, so it stops suppressing your reef tank's pH.

• Dimensions: 4.5in x 4.5in footprint, 9.5in height
• Media capacity: approx. 2.2lb (1kg)
• Connections: 3/8in quick-connect fittings, adapts to standard 5/16in skimmer airline tubing
• Media life: typically 2–4 weeks before replacement, depending on household CO2 levels

Indoor CO2 levels run well above outdoor air, and a skimmer pulling that air straight in can hold reef pH down around 7.8–8.0 even with good alkalinity and calcium. Routing the skimmer's air intake through this scrubber instead lets it pull cleaner, lower-CO2 air, which is often the fix when pH won't budge despite dosing correctly.

Includes: scrubber body with mounting hardware and a starter fill of color-changing CO2 removing media (turns from pink to white when exhausted).

Compatible with: IceCap CO2 Media 1kg (replacement refill), and any protein skimmer with an air intake.
