The Red Eye Tetra (Moenkhausia sanctaefilomenae) is a hardy, peaceful schooling fish with a silvery body and a striking ring of red around each eye. An easy, active community fish, it looks its best kept in a school of six or more.

• Diet: Omnivore - flake, pellets, and live/frozen foods.
• Temperament: Peaceful schooler; a solid community tank choice.
• Tank: 20 gallons and up for a proper school.
