Ocean Plankton (Calanus) 100 ml

Ocean Plankton (Calanus) is a 100% natural, minimally processed copepod food for marine fish, LPS/SPS corals, and filter feeders such as clams, tunicates, and gorgonians.

• Species: Calanus finmarchicus, wild-harvested from the Norwegian North Atlantic
• 100 ml bottle — a compact size for smaller systems or trying the food for the first time
• No preservatives — caught and immediately conserved, not freeze-dried or irradiated
• Naturally rich in HUFAs and carotenoid pigments from the copepods' own diet
• Suitable for target-feeding or broadcast feeding into the display or refugium

Because the plankton is preserved whole rather than processed into flakes or pellets, it retains a size, scent, and nutrient profile close to what fish and corals encounter in the wild — often triggering a feeding response from picky eaters and stony corals that ignore prepared foods.

Includes: one 100 ml bottle of concentrated Ocean Plankton.

Compatible with: also available in a larger 250 ml size for established reef systems with heavier feeding demand.
