The Reef Octopus BioChurn 120INT Biopellet Reactor is the larger in-sump body in the BioChurn line, using the patent-pending churn plate to keep pellet media suspended in a gentle cyclone motion rather than direct-blasted. It's built for reef systems whose bioload has outgrown the 90-size reactors.

• Best for: reef systems needing more media capacity than the BioChurn 90 series
• Setup: in-sump, integrated Aquatrance pump feeds and disperses media
• Design: cascading chamber for greater bacterial surface area, churn-plate fluidization for extended contact time

Simple and low-maintenance is the design goal here — the built-in pump means no separate feed-pump plumbing, and the gentle churn motion means less pellet grinding over time than high-flow blast-style reactors.
