The Reef Octopus CO2 Scrubber Skimmer Lid 8" (C2C-200) replaces your skimmer's standard vented lid with a sealed port that routes intake air through a CO2 scrubber canister rather than pulling directly from room air — useful in enclosed fish rooms or basements where elevated indoor CO2 can drag tank pH down.

• Fits: Reef Octopus skimmers with an 8-inch (200-size) neck
• Use: connects to a CO2 scrubber canister (media sold separately) to feed scrubbed air to the skimmer's air intake

Larger skimmers move more air through their intake, so on an 8-inch skimmer, ambient room CO2 has an outsized effect on tank pH — scrubbing intake air is a targeted fix.

Compatible with: Reef Octopus skimmers using an 8-inch (200-size) neck and lid.
