CR140 5.5 inch Calcium Reactor

The Reef Octopus CR140 5.5-Inch Calcium Reactor steps up chamber size from the CR100 for reef systems with a heavier coral load or higher calcium demand. Its reverse-flow design keeps CO2-charged water in contact with aragonite media longer, dissolving it into bioavailable calcium, alkalinity, and trace elements.

• Best for: larger hobbyist reef tanks or heavier SPS/calcium demand than the CR100 can keep up with
• Body: 5.5-inch reaction chamber, reverse-flow design
• Monitoring: built-in pH probe holder and bubble counter for tracking CO2 drip rate (pH probe and controller sold separately)

The larger 5.5-inch chamber holds more media between refills than the CR100, which means longer intervals between having to recharge aragonite.

Compatible replacement parts: media chamber seals and bubble counters for the CR140.
