Reef Octopus KS250 Nilson Kalk Reactor

The Reef Octopus KS250 Nilsen Kalkwasser Reactor is the largest chamber in the KS line, built for reef systems with the highest daily kalkwasser demand. It uses the same gentle, high-torque stirring motor as the smaller KS100/KS150 models to keep calcium hydroxide mixed without a submerged powerhead.

• Best for: larger reef systems or heavy auto-top-off kalkwasser dosing schedules
• Motor: high-torque, low-RPM stirring motor, not intended for continuous running
• Design: large thumb screws for quick lid removal and kalk powder refills, seal-tight closure

As the top of the KS line, the 250 needs the fewest refills per week relative to dosing volume — useful for larger systems where topping off more than once or twice weekly gets tedious.
