MF 1000 Advanced Media Reactor

The Reef Octopus MF1000 Advanced Media Reactor is a plumbed-in reactor built for hobbyists who want serious chemical filtration without the flimsy bodies and flow-choking sponges found in cheaper media filters. Cone strainers at each end keep coarse media contained while allowing water to disperse evenly around it — maximizing contact for carbon, GFO, or other chemical media.

The dual-strainer design is the main upgrade over basic media reactors — it prevents the channeling and clogging that plagues cheaper units with a single flat screen.
