Phos 0.04 Phosphate Remover 475g

Fauna Marin Phos 0.04 is a granular phosphate remover for reef aquariums, formulated to protect phosphate-sensitive SPS corals from nutrient-driven algae and coral stress.

• 475g granulate media, ready to use
• Self-limiting chemistry holds PO4 at a safe floor of 0.04 ppm — won't strip phosphate to unsafe near-zero levels
• Binds phosphate and yellowing organic compounds permanently, with no re-release back into the water column
• Helps suppress nuisance algae growth driven by excess phosphate

Aggressive phosphate removers can crash PO4 to zero and starve SPS corals, a common trigger for RTN. Phos 0.04's self-limiting binding holds a 0.04 ppm floor, so it clears the excess phosphate that feeds algae without swinging the tank into a dangerously low range.

Compatible with: standard media reactors, filter bags, or placement between filter wool layers in a canister or sump.
