Reef Brite Live Rock Enhance

Live Rock Enhance is a live culture of beneficial microbes and enzymes that break down detritus, slime algae, and trapped waste inside live rock, sand, and refugium media - unclogging pore structure and speeding up biological filtration.

What it does

• Cures new live rock faster by dissolving organic waste through microbial and enzymatic action
• Establishes a healthy biofilm that discourages unwanted organisms from colonizing the rock
• Revitalizes sump biofilters, sandbeds, and refugiums where detritus has built up over time

Dosing

• Standard tanks: 1 scoop per 25 gallons in a high-flow area, every other day for the first week
• Small tanks (10-15 gal): half a scoop
• Large systems: 1 teaspoon per 100 gallons
• Curing new rock: dose daily until ammonia reads zero and water clears; pairs well with a protein skimmer and water changes

For best results, mix the dose with a few ounces of aquarium water in a separate container, let it sit 20-30 minutes (stirring occasionally), then pour it into a high-flow area. Turn off UV sterilizers while dosing, since UV will kill the live culture before it can work. Store refrigerated for best potency. Contains Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, and supporting enzymes (~7 billion CFU/g); one container treats approximately 2,000 gallons.
