The Reef Octopus Regal 200-EXT recirculating protein skimmer is designed for aquariums up to 400 gallons, providing powerful filtration and absolute control. Made of high-quality cast acrylic, it can be easily disassembled for cleaning. The hybrid conical body of the skimmer naturally stabilizes and concentrates the organic-rich foam as it rises. Additionally, it is equipped with a new generation Octopus controllable Direct Current VarioS-4S pinwheel recirculating skimmer pump, offering refined control, enhanced performance, and efficiency. This pump has several advantages over traditional AC pumps, including the option to control the speed and flow rate electronically. The new VarioS Controller allows for even more control, with features such as a float switch connection for added security, pause/feed modes for maintenance and feeding, and the ability to use a third-party controller for intricate programs.
