Don't let its short stature and small footprint fool you — it comes equipped with the Bubble Blaster 10000 pump that produces incredible air draw numbers while using only 95 watts running. Great for large home aquariums, frag farmers, small commercial displays and store systems under 1600 gallons.
The Power
The quiet yet powerful Reef Octopus Bubble Blaster HY-10000 is a super-efficient pinwheel skimmer pump backed by a 2-year warranty. Bubble Blaster skimmer pumps feature a calcium inhibiting silicone nitride shaft and bearings for extended pump life and reduced maintenance. Unlike modified water pumps, Bubble Blaster pumps were designed specifically as skimmer pumps. They include a digital control circuit board managing directional start-up and RPM speeds, with automatic shutoff for detected problems. A clear volute housing allows inspection without disassembly. The distinguishing feature is the enormous amount of air they pull per watt, delivering superior air and water volume for aggressive protein skimming.
