THE DIP 250ml

Fauna Marin THE DIP is a coral-safe pre-dip solution for cleaning new coral additions before they go into the display tank, in a 250 ml bottle.

• Mix 15 ml of THE DIP into 1 L (0.26 US gal) of aquarium water and stir
• Swirl the coral in the solution for up to 5 minutes, then rinse in a separate container of aquarium water before placing it in the display
• Made from natural ingredients — water, surfactants, and organic salts — with no oils, iodine, or aggressive oxidizers
• Formulated not to darken coral tissue
• Discard the dip and rinse solutions after use; do not reuse

Why it matters: Newly acquired corals frequently carry hitchhiking pests and detritus that a quick freshwater rinse or store-bought dip may not fully dislodge. THE DIP's surfactant-based formula loosens deposits and pests without the tissue-darkening or coral stress that harsher iodine- or oxidizer-based dips can cause.

Not for use as a permanent aquarium additive, and not safe for bathing fish, shrimp, snails, sea urchins, or other livestock — remove all animals from the coral before dipping.
