Titanium Ground Probe

The CoralVue Titanium Ground Probe eliminates stray voltage in marine and freshwater aquariums, protecting fish and invertebrates from the chronic stress that stray current can cause.

• Element material: solid titanium rod
• Corrosion resistance: 100% inert in saltwater, non-toxic and chemically safe for reef tanks
• Lead: insulated copper grounding wire
• Compatible with: both marine (reef-safe) and freshwater systems

Stray voltage in a tank — from heaters, pumps, or lighting ballasts — can cause fish to act skittish, clamp fins, or develop stress-related conditions even when every other water parameter looks fine. Submerging the titanium probe in the tank or sump and routing the copper lead to a properly grounded outlet gives that current somewhere to go.

Includes: titanium ground probe with attached insulated copper wire.

Maintenance: periodically clean the titanium tip to keep conductivity at its best.
