The WYSIWYG Acan Bowerbanki Frag Coral is a fleshy Acanthastrea colony with large, meaty polyps in bold color combinations — often deep reds, bright oranges, purples, and glowing greens. Acans are hardy, rewarding LPS that plump up and spread quickly when kept well fed. WYSIWYG means "what you see is what you get": the exact coral pictured is the one we'll ship you.

• Difficulty: Beginner-friendly LPS — hardy and fast to color up.
• Lighting: Low to moderate; too much light washes out the color, so keep it lower in the tank.
• Flow: Low to moderate and gentle, so the polyps inflate fully.
• Placement: On the sandbed or low rockwork with a little space from neighbors.
• Feeding: A big driver of color and growth — target-feed meaty foods a couple of times a week.
• Parameters: 76-78°F, salinity 1.025, Alk 8-11 dKH, Ca 400-450, Mg 1,250-1,350.
