The WYSIWYG Electric Green Bubble Coral (Plerogyra) inflates a cluster of plump, glowing green bubbles that shimmer and sway through the day, then extends feeding tentacles after dark. A hardy, low-light LPS with an unmistakable look, it makes a soft, luminous centerpiece for any reef. • Difficulty: Beginner-friendly LPS — hardy and forgiving.
• Lighting: Low. Bright, direct light stresses the bubbles — keep it lower in the tank.
• Flow: Low and gentle. Too much flow prevents the bubbles from inflating and can tear them.
• Placement: Low rock or sandbed, with space from neighbors — it extends long stinging sweepers at night.
• Feeding: Photosynthetic, but takes meaty foods on its night tentacles about once a week.
• Parameters: 76–78°F, salinity 1.025, Alk 8–11 dKH, Ca 400–450, Mg 1,250–1,350.
