The WYSIWYG Joker Cynarina Coral (Cynarina lacrymalis) is a single large-polyp stony (LPS) coral prized for its bold, multi-color tissue — a blend of bright greens, reds, and purples that inflates into a glowing, dramatic centerpiece. WYSIWYG means "what you see is what you get": the exact colony pictured is the one we'll ship you, so color, size, and health are guaranteed.

Quick care overview

• Difficulty: Beginner-friendly LPS — hardy once acclimated.
• Lighting: Low to moderate. Place lower in the tank; high-intensity light can bleach it. Blue-heavy light brings out the best color.
• Flow: Low to moderate and indirect, so the tissue can inflate fully without tearing on the skeleton.
• Placement: Sandbed or a flat, low spot with a few inches of clearance from neighbors.
• Feeding: Photosynthetic, but responds well to meaty foods (mysis, chopped seafood, LPS foods) 1–3x per week near the central mouth.
• Parameters: 76–78°F, salinity 1.025, Alk 8–11 dKH, Ca 400–450, Mg 1,250–1,350.
