This WYSIWYG Lobophyllia is a fleshy lobed brain coral ("lobo") with plump, rounded tissue that inflates dramatically under gentle conditions. Lobos are hardy, slow-growing LPS prized for their color and texture. WYSIWYG means "what you see is what you get": the exact coral pictured is the one you'll take home.

Quick care overview

• Difficulty: Beginner-friendly LPS - hardy once acclimated.
• Lighting: Low to moderate.
• Flow: Low to moderate and gentle, so the tissue inflates fully without tearing.
• Feeding: Photosynthetic, but responds well to meaty foods a couple of times a week.
